WHY YOUR BODY NEEDS AT LEAST 33% OF IT’S FUEL FROM CARBOHYDRATES
40% of the fuel requirements for your brain has to come from glucose. With the function of your brain taking a higher priority over virtually any other biological function of your body, if your brain does not get enough glucose, then it signals your adrenal glands to produce cortisol. Cortisol is a stress hormone that breaks
down muscle, liver, brain, and bone structures to convert the proteins into amino acids and the finally into glucose. A less than optimal level of glucose in your blood, will signal this response from your brain. It only takes 4 to 6 hours after eating a meal for your glucose levels to drop, inducing a release of cortisol. High cortisol causes your body to break down and build up fat in the abdomen and hips.
Prior to the 1950’s the majority of the population in the United
States of America, was lean. There was very little obesity. The progressive increase in heart attacks that started in the 1920’s was blamed on saturated animal fats. The true reasons for arterial plaque developed are caused by multiple factors. One of them being chlorine in the drinking water.
CHLORINE MAY DISINFECT YOUR WATER BUT IT MAKES HAMBURGER OF YOUR ARTERIES
Chlorine in drinking water is a major oxidant and contributor to arterial
plaque. Men who had been in the Vietnam war for any length of time and died in action and were autopsied were found to have advanced plaque in the arteries. In the Vietnam War the army drank from swamp water. In order to disinfect this water, it was heavily chlorinated. I had a Vietnam Vet sit in my office and confirm this with me, telling me the chlorine vapors coming off the water were horrid. Also, a study done on pigeons in cages showed that when they drank chlorinated water, they developed
arterial plaque. Here you have a bird that eats no cholesterol in its diet getting arterial plaque from chlorinated water. This is conclusive proof that chlorine was the major cause of arterial plaque in America, that was incorrectly blamed on animal fats.
Another unknown fact is that chlorination of city water supplies began with Chicago in approximately 1913. All other cities in America followed after this. Then about 1920’s was when heart attacks started to become a
noticeable problem in America. The evidence is clear that both drinking chlorinated water and bathing in it exposes the entire body to the free radical damaging effects of Chlorine. No one should be drinking chlorinated tap water. But the problem does not stop here.
People swim in highly chlorinated water. Most everyone bathes or showers in it. I personally will not swim in a chlorinated pool unless I take several powerful antioxidants. Which are, Youthxym, Liposomal Glutathione and Lipoic Acid. Youthxym, contains Super Oxide Dismutase and Catalase, both of which can neutralize
millions of free radicals. SOD and Catalase are the strongest antioxidants known. When I take Youthxym it makes me feel better. Most brands of Liposomal Glutathione are weak or ineffective. The one I have sourced is noticeably helping my prostate health and is therefore very effective.
I recommend you either have a whole house water filter or put a chlorine filter on your shower and bathtub. In fact, if you do not already have a Shower Filter to remove chlorine, get one. You’ll really cut down on the amount you absorb and inhale in your showers. Also, if you cannot immediately get a bathtub filter, then just add 2 quarts of full fat milk to your bath water, and the chlorine will be bound to the milk fats and proteins and not go into your body.
Other Contributing Factors that Cause Arterial
Plaque
In our day and age, the other contributing factors that cause arterial plaque are cooked or raw vegetable oils, homogenized milk, and white sugar. Cooked vegetable oils are free radicals, thus damaging the lining of the arteries as then flow through your blood vessels. Homogenized milk delivers xanthene oxidase into your blood stream that would not otherwise be absorbed. But due to homogenization this compound gets coated in the broken-down fat and then absorbs into your
body. Xanthene oxidase is found in the fatty material of people who have had their plaque physically removed from their arteries and they are also milk drinkers. White sugar is proven to dissolve the slippery lining of the arteries called the endothelium glycocalyx, which in turn is the area where plaque can begin to form.
Now that we know that saturated animal fats are not the cause of arterial plaque, we can now focus on the lethal advice from the government that to avoid
arterial plaque you need to replace animal fats with seed oils. This advice started in the 1950’s and from the 1950’s forward we’ve seen an increase in heart attacks, obesity, type II diabetes, and sugar handling problems in general.
Prior to the 1950’s seed oils composed only 1 to 2% of the human diet. Now today, seed oils represent up to 30% or more of the caloric intake of many Americans. Likewise, we’ve seen the greatest degree of obesity and chronic degenerative
diseases develop since seed oils have become a large part of the American diet. The latest discoveries on this topic show the following:
If your fat intake is higher than 33%, glucose will be metabolized through an oxygen-less pathway called anerobic and not through the oxygen pathway in the mitochondria. This inefficient process increases lactic acid production, which lowers tissue pH to an unhealthy, lower oxygen state. Without oxygen your cells can only produce 2 units of
ATP for every molecule of glucose. With glucose being converted into ATP (energy) in the presence of oxygen and through the mitochondria, each molecule of glucose can be converted into 38 units of ATP.
Omega 6 fatty acid from seed oils promotes inflammation. So many people innocently eat fried foods or preprepared foods, i.e., potato chips, salad dressings, baked goods, either cooked in or with a seed oils, high in omega 6. Seed oils are the worst oil you can have in
your diet. It is best to avoid all seed oils. With the possible exception of small amounts of cold pressed flaxseed oil, stored under refrigeration. With seed oils out of the diet the overall fat intake from meats, coconut fat, butter or rendered animal fats, and olive oil, should be no more that 33% of your diet if you are already healthy.
If you are dealing with any form of disease, especially diabetes, then you may reap tremendous benefits by limiting your fat intake
to no more than 15% of your diet for a period of time that enables you to recover your health. It can take up to 2 years on a healthy fat intake in your diet for your body to detoxify all the seed oils you’ve consumed in the past.
Your body releases cortisol to produce glucose from glycogen stores or by breaking down muscle, liver, brain and bone proteins. Cortisol also promotes inflammation.
For years I’ve been saying that because the human tongue has more
receptors for sweet and starch than any other taste, then you can conclude that we are designed by God to eat carbohydrates in generous proportion in our diets. Now, thanks to people like Georgi Dinkov, Jay Feldman, and Dr. Mercola, I am being vindicated scientifically. This also means that in the long run a ketogenic diet promotes a state of chronic excess cortisol production, which is a chronic state of stress, which can lead to an accelerated rate of decline in one’s
health.

Which Carbohydrates Are Best?
Listen to your body for its cravings for carbohydrates, when it wants fruit or fruit-juice, then enjoy consuming these. If it wants complex carbohydrates like potatoes, sweet potatoes or grains then give it one of these. Since one’s blood sugar usually starts dropping with 4 to 6 hours
after eating, and yet your stomach may have yet to be empty and therefore you are not ready to eat. Then consuming concentrated sugars like honey, fruit juice or even Sucanat from dehydrated cane juice in water, can give you a pick me up, lower cortisol back down and keep you going until you stomach is ready for your next meal.
Endotoxins
If you are like many people and have ill health in your digestive tract, such that your microbiome is
producing toxins such as Lipopolysaccharide. Then it may be better to consume starches that fully digest. Said another way, you would avoid starches that resist digestion. Starches that digest thoroughly are white rice and tubers (without the skin).
However, since starches that resist digestion also feed the beneficial bacteria in the gut to produce butyric acid, which is required to feed the lining of your intestines so that they repair and heal on a 24 hour a day
basis. Then avoiding starches that resist digestion, may not be the most beneficial.
